There are many gaps in current service provision. People are telling us they are lonely.

We are constantly planning new services and events to free people from loneliness at a grassroots level. Once launched, our services are listed below.

Friends for Good Counselling and Wellbeing Service

A social enterprise providing person-centred, low-cost video Telehealth across Australia.

Sessions start at $50 + GST and all profits go to supporting Friends for Good's free services.

MateLine

MateLine is a national support line for Australian veterans.

All conversations with MateLine are anonymous (this is not a crisis service) and our friendly volunteers call a few times a week for a yarn and to share a story or two.

FriendLine Chat is now available for those unable to call or need to reconnect online.

The FriendLine chat service is active in the early evenings and is available via the website.

Community Lunches: Sharing Meals and Building Connections

Bringing communities together and fostering friendships in St Albans.

Friends for Good hosted community lunch events in St Albans, one of Melbourne’s most disadvantaged suburbs. These gatherings provided an opportunity for people to share a meal, connect, and form meaningful friendships, making a positive impact on the local community.
